Your files.
Only you hold the key.
Files are encrypted in your browser and stored on the Walrus decentralized network. Your wallet is your account: no sign-up, and we can't see a thing.
- AES-256 encryption in your browser
- No sign-up
- Pay for what you store, no subscription

Encrypted. Decentralized. Yours.
Traditional cloud drives keep the keys for you. We hand the keys back to you and put your data on a network with no single point of failure.

Encrypted before it ever leaves your device
Before upload, files are encrypted in your browser with AES-256-GCM. We and the storage nodes only ever see ciphertext, and even file names are encrypted.
- Your key is derived from your wallet signature and never stored by us
- Both file contents and file names are encrypted
- Large files are encrypted in chunks in your browser, up to 500MB each

Stored on Walrus, not on any one company
Ciphertext is erasure-coded into slivers and spread across many independent Walrus storage nodes. Even if some go offline, your files can still be fully recovered.
- Stored redundantly across independent nodes
- Storage records are verifiable on Sui
- No lock-in: with the blobId and your wallet, fetch and decrypt without us

No sign-up, and sharing stays encrypted
Sign in with MetaMask, Rabby, OKX or any other wallet. No email, no password, and signing costs no gas. To share a file, just create an encrypted share link.
- Recipients don't need a wallet to download and decrypt
- The decryption key lives after the # and never reaches our server
- Set an expiry, and revoke at any time
Up and running in a minute
- 1
Connect your wallet
Sign in with a signature to prove you own the address. No gas.
- 2
Unlock your key
Sign once more to derive, in your browser, a key only you can generate.
- 3
Pay and upload
Confirm the quote, pay in USDC, and your files are encrypted and written to Walrus.
- 4
Access and share
Files are decrypted in your browser on download, and you can create encrypted share links.
How it differs from a traditional cloud drive
| Onchain Drive | Traditional cloud drive | |
|---|---|---|
| Can the provider see your files? | No. Encrypted in your browser | Usually yes. The provider holds the keys |
| Account | Wallet signature, no sign-up | Email or phone sign-up |
| Where data lives | Many independent nodes on a decentralized network | One company's data centers |
| Leaving | Fetch straight from Walrus with the blobId and your wallet | Depends on the provider's export tools |
| Pricing | Storage at cost + 30% fee, enforced onchain | Subscription tiers, paid whether used or not |
What people store here
Backups that matter
Contracts, ID scans, financial records, kept encrypted for the long term and readable only by you.
Team & DAO archives
Project docs and governance records, with storage you can verify onchain and that outlives any single service.
Creators' originals
Original artwork and source files on a decentralized network, free from platform lock-in.
Send files securely
Give clients or friends an encrypted link. No wallet needed to download, and you can revoke it anytime.
Frequently asked questions
Can I try it first?
Yes. The testnet site, test.onchaindrive.app, works the same way as mainnet, and you pay with testnet USDC and ETH on Base Sepolia (available from faucets). Testnet files are only kept for 5 epochs (about 1 day each), and data may be wiped, so don't store anything important there.
What happens when storage expires?
Walrus storage is prepaid for a fixed period, up to about 2 years. You'll get a reminder in "My files" before it expires; select the files and renew to keep them. Renewals are billed under the same rules.
Can you see my files?
No. Files and file names are encrypted in your browser. The key is derived from your wallet signature, lives only in your browser's memory, and is never stored by us.
What if I lose my wallet?
Your files can no longer be decrypted, and we can't recover them for you. Make sure to back up your wallet's seed phrase.
Keep the keys in your own hands
Mainnet is opening soon. Meanwhile, try the full flow on testnet.
